Tax-Free Shopping Bonanza

Tuesday August 5, 2008
I've figured -- using my totally unverified and very iffy math skills -- that this year I'll save about $60 on in-store, back-to-school shopping by waiting until my state's tax-free holiday. If your your state has a tax-free weekend it's a great time to save that extra money on everything from back-to-school clothing to shoes (it differs by state). Of course, if you order online from an out-of-state store that doesn't have a physical presence in your state it's a tax-free holiday every day.
